Our staff

Meet the staff who look after your children on a daily basis at Seend Playgroup.

Our staff are a dedicated team of people, all of whom are mothers themselves. They all have Pre-School Learning Alliance qualifications, or other equivalent early years training.

Rose Dick - Deputy Playleader, SENCO & Member of Staff
Rose Dick – Playleader & SENCO

Rose is married with two adult children and five grandchildren. She studied Childcare at college, has a PPA Diploma and worked in a nursery before having her own children. Rose has worked at Seend Playgroup since 1988 and is now both Playleader and SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator). Her SENCO training is on-going and she has had recent training in Diabetes Care, First Aid and Child Protection. Rose runs a BLAST language group in Playgroup plus other small language and social skills groups as and when required; she believes that communication and social skills are very important in Early Years education.
