Playgroup Summer Trip to Woodland Adventurers

This year, we chose a completely new venue for our annual summer trip – Woodland Adventurers.

25 children, plus parents, carers and staff spent a wonderful day in July at Chris Harvey’s beautiful beech copse near Box. We sat around the camp fire, went on a bear hunt in the woods (and found lots of friendly, cuddly bears), had teacakes toasted on the campfire for morning snack, did some challenges in the woods involving water, ropes and empty milk cartons, fed the animals, played games, ate our picnic lunch among the trees, built dens and we toasted our own marshmallows on the campfire.

Everybody came home slightly muddy, exhausted but happy!
